ODI & List A

The ODI Scoring values a player’s contributions based on all of his important performance parameters, easily calculable based on scoreboard data. In addition, the scoring system also accounts for batters and bowlers impacting the game beyond just the number of runs and wickets they account for, ensuring a player is allotted points for all of his efforts on the field.

Taking all important parameters into account, the ODI Scoring is divided into four aspects:

ODI Batting Points

ODI Bowling Points

ODI Fielding Points

Run points

The basic aim in all forms of cricket is to score runs. So, the batter is given points depending on the number of runs they score in an inning. There are various ‘run buckets’ in which the runs are valued differently, mentioned in the Run Points distribution.

Boundary bonus points

A batter gains bonus points for every four or six hits in an inning, which add up to Boundary Bonus Points. Each four and six is worth 0.5 points and 1.0 points respectively.
